The Process of Clinical Hypnotherapy
Clinical Hypnotherapy is now recognised worldwide as an accepted and effective form of Therapeutic Treatment and is fast becoming the preferred choice of treatment for people with busy lifestyles.

Hypnotherapy is a results-focussed form of treatment that does not involve the emotional pain, time and expense of some other forms of Psychotherapies. By dealing directly with the subconscious mind, Hypnotherapy by-passes many of the obstacles and barriers the conscious mind creates.

Hypnotherapy is able to fast track the process of “real change” and does so by first isolating the core problem. Long-term change is then facilitated through use of trance state, anchors and other Clinical techniques.

The results of treatment using Hypnotherapy can take effect immediately. Clients often experience profound change over the course of several treatments and are equipped with tools such as Self-Hypnosis that they can utilise and access for the rest of their lives. For the client, the experience is painless, relaxing and enjoyable.

By completing our training program you will discover how to utilise clinical hypnotherapy to help clients achieve their desired goals and outcomes.

ACH teaches all modern styles of Hypnosis with a range of Clinical techniques and self help techniques for the client, with an emphasis on “client focused” work.  Helping the client to discover his or her own potential resources and work with them.  As you move through our training program you will learn how to practically apply your knowledge and practical skills working with clients through case study work.  You will also start to build your business model, in preparation for moving into your own practice.

Students initially work with habits such as Stop Smoking, Weight Loss, Nail Bitting and performance areas and progress toward more complex Clinical and Psychological areas as their experience deepens. Regular supervision supplied by ACH helps accelerate this process.

You will study Ericksonian Hypnosis and Analytical Hypnosis, the two main forms of hypnosis in the world today.

Students who successfully complete the course are eligible to apply to be issued with a Health Insurance Provider Number, subject to meeting the requirements of health funds and professional bodies. The provider number may enable the Practitioner’s clients to claim a rebate from their Health Insurance Company.
