The Advanced Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy & Neuro Linguistic Programming is designed for practising Clinical Hypnotherapists and Counsellors who may wish to upgrade their current skills and advance their present qualifications with Psychotherapy and advanced training in Hypnotherapy and NLP.The 10501nat Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy & Neuro Linguistic Programming qualification is comprised of 7 core and 2elective Units of Competency

The course is comprised of two 6 month long semesters. The first week of each semester contains a full time study block based in the ACH Leichhardt offices or at a training room in Sydney’s Inner West or Melbourne. The study blocks are designed for intensive training sessions with some face-to-face assessments. The balance of assessments is to be completed over a scheduled time frame.  At the conclusion of each study block the student is provided with assessments, reading lists and other study material that will be required to be completed during the following six month period.

Block 1

First Semester starts on enrolment with distance education of theoretical work to prepare you for the face to face training where you will be taken through the practical skills required to develop your skill and understanding and to assist you then with the completion of your assignment work.

Students are provided with Course material, case study outlines, worksheets and activities to complete through distance education, with ongoing supervision as needed throughout.

Practical skill assessments will be held during the face to face training session.

Block 2

Second Semester starts with face to face training where you will be taken through the practical skills required to develop your skill and understanding and to assist you then with the completion of your assignment work through distance education.

Practical skill assessments will be held during the face to face training session.

Assessment submissions that fail to meet the required standards are to be amended as required. In some cases students will be unable to commence studies if they have not achieved the required pre-requisites.

 

Upon successful completion of course assessments the student will be awarded an Advanced Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP).

 

Course Prerequisites

Students in this course will need to be experienced practitioners with an existing practice. Course assessment requires reference to existing clients, progress of existing clients and review of their clinical notes.

Potential students will be interviewed by our CEO to ensure that their practises are suitable for the student to draw upon as a suitable learning and assessment resource.

As always, client confidentiality will be required and expected with all assessments where client records may be accessed. To undertake this course the student must:

  • Be 21 years of age or over.
  • Have an adequate command of English.
  • Have normal sensory awareness and capability including adequate hearing and vision.
  • Have adequate physical/psychological abilities necessary for establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with clients in this vocation.
  • Read, understand and accept the Student Handbook.
  • Have a current e-mail address for contact and communication.
  • Be an experienced practitioner with an existing clinic/ practice.
Note:  If the above requirements are not met the CEO will assess each potential student on their current experience as well as education, therefore you may qualify for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).  At ACH we have an RPL self-assessment kit we are more than happy to go through with you.
